Signature™ Personalised Patient Care
The Signature™ system utilises custom made femoral and tibial positioning guides developed from the patient's MRI scans. The MRI scans are used to create three dimensional joint reconstruction, which enables the surgeon to pre-operative plan the surgery and for the production of the custom made guides. In the past, this pre-operative planning has typically been based of two dinensional X-rays.
When used in conjunction with the Signature™ System, the Vanguard™ Complete Knee System allows surgeon's to provide more of a custom fit for the patient, regardless of their size or gender. The Vanguard™ knee offers twice the femoral size options of other knee systems, which allows for 90 different size combinations.
